Job summary

Weida (M) Bhd is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage supplier invoices and general accounting tasks. You will ensure timely voucher processing and accurate data entry into Auto Count, with bank reconciliation and support for the Senior Accounts Executive.

The role requires at least an accounting qualification and 1 year in manufacturing. Knowledge of SST is a plus, and candidates should be meticulous and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related working experience in manufacturing environment.
• SST (Sales & Service Tax) knowledge is advantageous.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
• Initiative, enthusiasm and self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Handle account payable and perform general accounts tasks such as filing and data entry.
• Ensure payment vouchers are updated timely and processed accurately via online transfer, cheque or telegraphic transfer.
• Check invoices and ensure documents are complete; input information into Auto Count.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Assist Senior Accounts Executive with day-to-day activities.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
