Job summary

YL Chee & Co. is seeking a motivated Account Assistant to support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for its associate Aston Advisory Sdn Bhd. You will assist with quotations, invoicing, bank reconciliations and general ledgers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and teamwork, with exposure to Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance and liaising with clients and auditors. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in Accounting or related field and be proficient in

• Good understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; able to prepare accurate documents.
• Able to communicate and coordinate with clients and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Requesting the necessary financial documents from clients.
• Preparing and drafting client quotations.
• Preparing and processing the Balance Sheet.
• Preparing and processing the Profit & Loss Account.
• Performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Recording and maintaining the Journal of Transactions.
• Extracting and verifying the Trial Balance.
• Maintaining the General Ledger.
