Job summary

MST Facilities Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance & Accounts team and support daily accounting operations.

You will handle supplier invoices, assist AP/AR, prepare vouchers, support month-end closing, and maintain digital records. Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals are welcome, and familiarity with accounting software and Excel will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates with good accounting fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Basic understanding of AP, AR, invoicing and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Process and verify supplier/vendor invoices and supporting documents.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices and other accounting documents.
• Assist in customer billing and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
