Job summary

KHASS EVENT MANAGEMENT SDN BHD is seeking an accounting operations professional in Ipoh to manage daily financial activities, maintain records, and support the finance team with reporting and compliance.

You will handle data entry, filing, petty cash, supplier statements, bank reconciliations, and assist with audit preparation. Experience with SQL and a Diploma or Degree in Accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in accounting or finance-related role.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience using SQL.
• Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations including data entry, filing, and maintaining proper documentation.
• Manage petty cash, including recording, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate supporting documents.
• Handle worker claim and advance.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations (bank reconciliation, supplier statement, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the SQL system.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance / Account Manager as needed.
