Job summary

Ares Precision Machine (M) Sdn Bhd. is seeking a capable accounting professional in Malaysia to handle daily accounting operations, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.

You will prepare vouchers, process invoices, and maintain a Fixed Assets Register while ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial records. The role requires English and Mandarin communication, familiarity with Autocount, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Able to communicate with both English and Mandarin speaking associates.
• Proficiency in using accounting software e.g. Autocount and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including entries, voucher preparation, bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit e-invoice timely and in compliance with regulations.
• Record and update outgoing and incoming payments in the accounting system.
• Prepare bank statements and conduct other reconciliations.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist in audit and tax schedules and support audit processes.
• Support month-end closing and other finance-related tasks.
• Assist in SST data review, documentation, and submission support.
