Job summary

MACTEX SDN BHD is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily data entry and maintain accurate records for the group of companies in Selangor. You will process AP/AR transactions, prepare vouchers and invoices, and monitor receivables to support timely payments.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency in Excel and AutoCount. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Fresh graduates / experience candidates encouraged to apply
• Languages: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry accounting
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Month-End Closing, and General Ledger

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting data entry and maintain accurate accounting records for the Group of Companies
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
• Prepare payment vouchers, supplier payments, customer invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and journal entries
• Monitor outstanding supplier invoices and customer receivables
• Assist in following up on customer payments and outstanding accounts when required
• Perform bank reconciliation and assist with other account reconciliations
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents, schedules, invoices, receipts, and payment documentation
• Assist in preparing monthly accounting schedules and reports required by the Finance Department
• Maintain and update vendor and customer master records
