Job summary

JT MACHINERY SDN. BHD is seeking an Accountant to manage daily finance operations in Sabah. You will handle General Ledger, accounts functions, monthly billings, payroll, and data entry to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g, Autocount/SQL).
• Experience in handling payroll and basic HR administrative duties is an added advantage.
• Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily finance operations, including General Ledger management and accounts functions.
• Prepare and manage monthly billings, monitor collections, and ensure timely payments.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports for management.
• Input and maintain accurate data in the accounting system.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records and transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate management reports, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and timely submission.
• Prepare monthly payroll and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Coordinate with HR regarding employee salary changes and maintain accurate payroll records and employee salary information.
