Job summary

PINNACLE AT GEORGETOWN SDN. BHD. invites experienced accounting and auditing professionals to join our Georgetown, Penang team. You will lead and develop the accounting staff, review their work, and drive hiring plans with Directors.

You will set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, manage client portfolios, and ensure statutory timelines are met. Experience with full financial statements and tax returns, plus proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks Online, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance, or professional qualification preferred.
• At least 6 years in accounting or audit, including 2 years supervising a team.
• Hands-on experience with full sets of accounts and financial statements, and confidence reviewing others’ work.

We are a fast growing accounting group looking for experienced accounting and auditing professionals to join our team in Georgetown, Penang. Together with the Directors, you will help shape how our team works and grows.

What you will do

Lead, coach and develop a team of accounting staff, including reviewing their work and providing feedback to them

Recruit and onboard new team members as the office grows, working with the Directors on hiring plans.

Set and review deliverables and KPIs for the team and for each team member.

Run performance reviews and identify training needs.

Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure relevant statutory and client timelines are met.

Review full sets of accounts and financial statements and tax returns

Oversee management reporting for clients who need it.

What we are looking for

A degree in accounting or finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA Australia, MIA, MICPA, ICAEW or equivalent). A professional qualification is preferred.

At least 6 years in accounting or audit, including 2 years supervising a team. Experience in a professional accounting or audit firm is preferred.

Possess initiative and ability to work and learn independently
