Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) preferred.
• MAICSA, MACS, MIA or Bar Council membership advantageous.
• Education: Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Professional Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy of full set of accounts and Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements.
• Perform detailed FS review, variance analysis, and reconciliation checks.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings, SST, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team on proper accounting treatments and reporting standards.
• Support management with financial insights and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation for all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Review and ensure accuracy of full set of accounts and Financial Statements (FS) in compliance with MFRS and statutory requirements

Perform detailed FS review, variance analysis, and reconciliation checks

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) preferred. Good to possess an SSM Licensed Secretary (LS) Licence OR be a qualified member of a prescribed professional body (MAICSA, MACS, MIA, or Bar Council).

Education: Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Professional Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
