Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accountant to join our finance team in Malaysia. The role focuses on daily accounting tasks, reconciliations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Candidates should have at least an accounting qualification or related diploma and 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• At least an Accounting qualification and knowledge or a diploma in the related field.
• Candidates must be able to converse in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience; full set accounts will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with Accounting software applications.
• Well organized with multi-tasking ability and good interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented in a high-paced environment.
• Able to embrace change and quick learner.
• Coordinate internal tasks related to accounts to ensure timely service delivery.

Responsibilities

• To manage all daily accounting & finance transactions including receivable and payable processes & journal entries maintenance.
• Able to handle the organization’s accounts.
• Perform reconciliations such as Bank, Supplier & Interco, and follow up on outstanding transactions.
• Assist in preparation of reports and liaise with external auditors.
• General administrative duties including filing of vouchers and invoices.
• Record and process all transactions related.
• Work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Meet deadlines and follow instructions for reporting.
• Maintain organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrate responsibility in duties performed.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
