Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accountant to join our Kuala Lumpur office. You will prepare full sets of accounts (AP/AR/GL), monthly/quarterly/annual statements, bank reconciliations, and daily entries with strict attention to accuracy.

You will handle invoices, claims, and vendor payments while ensuring compliance with MalaysiaAccounting Standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Advanced or Expert in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of Malaysia accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update full sets of accounts (AP/AR/GL).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and transaction matching.
• Handle daily accounting operations and data entry.
• Manage invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and billing documentation.
• Process staff claims, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using Excel and accounting software
• Organize and manage digital financial documents
• Assist in monthly closing and reporting
• Support general accounting and administrative
