Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced full‑set accountant to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage AR, AP, GL, treasury, cashflow monitoring, and month‑end close for a fast‑paced retail environment, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience, a Diploma or degree in accounting or related field, strong Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), and proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3‑5 years full set accounting experience (retail/trading preferred).
Familiar with SQL, Auto-count, or similar systems.
Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations & e-invoicing.
Immediate or short notice joiners preferred.

Handle full set accounts: AR, AP, GL, treasury & reconciliations.
Prepare month‑end closing, management accounts & P&L.
Monitor cash flow, bank balances & petty cash.
Ensure timely payments and supplier/customer reconciliations.
Support audits, tax filings & statutory reporting.
Improve accounting processes & handle ad‑hoc finance tasks.Manage accounting and taxation functions, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing accurate and timely information to management.
Oversee tax filings and compliance, including income tax, GST/SST, and other relevant taxes.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
Conduct internal audits to identify and address financial risks and control gaps.
Collaborate with external auditors to complete annual audits.
Provide financial advice and support to business units to aid decision‑making.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing training and development opportunities.
