Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional for handling full set accounts, monthly statements, and reconciliations. The role requires independence, timely delivery, and proficiency in AutoCount and UBS software.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in accounting/finance, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus. This position offers a supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in handling full set accounts will be an added advantage
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Proficient in AutoCount and UBS accounting software
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Language Required: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin language skills are an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts, including AP, AR, and General Ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Manage invoices, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company poicies, and statutory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities when required
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
