Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant for its Kuala Lumpur team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, has at least three years of relevant experience, and is proficient in AutoCount Accounting Software.

You will handle full set of accounts, prepare monthly statements, and ensure accurate reporting with integrity. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory requirements, plus the ability to work

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in AutoCount Accounting Software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Manage and monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
• Prepare and submit tax, SST, and statutory reports in compliance with local regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external parties as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
