Job summary

Lien Huat Group, a family-run manufacturer serving the rubber and construction industries since 1969, requires an accounts professional to support the full accounting cycle in Port Klang. The role demands precision, self-motivation and the ability to collaborate within a growing team.

You will handle AP/AR, payroll, tax submissions, monthly reports and assist with year-end audits while maintaining accurate financial records and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent.
• Able to handle full set of accounts.
• Good written and verbal communication; fluent in English and Bahasa.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable & receivable, month-end closing and other related duties
• Prepare closing stock and reconciliation
• Manage the company’s billing processes to facilitate and ensure timely financial transactions
• Manage cash flow and bank reconciliation
• Manage monthly payroll processing and reports
• Update attendance cards and overtime calculations
• Prepare and submit management financial reports
• Prepare submission of monthly statutory payments (sales and service tax, etc.)
• Ensure timely filing of year end audit and all tax returns including coordinating the preparation of tax computations, tax returns
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, statutory bodies, tax agents, company secretary and banks
• Maintaining staff records, statutory and other related matters
• Perform any ad-hoc assignments given by superior
