Job summary

ATA Services Plus Recruitment Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced accountant for our Kuala Lumpur office. The role covers bookkeeping, monthly closings, tax reporting, and coordination with auditors and clients, ensuring accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3+ years in an accounting firm, fluent English, and the ability to work in a start-up style, office-based environment from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• At least 3 years' experience in an accounting firm.
• Malaysian, good English communication; other languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of the accounting transaction.
• Reconciling financial discrepancies and bank statements.
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare all taxes reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, and revenue department.
• Answer accounting and taxation questions by researching accounting policy.
• Provide professional accounting services to Thai and foreign clients.
• Leverage opportunities to management when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of the accounting transaction.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies and bank statements.
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statement (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and Cashflow Statement).
• Prepare all taxes report.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, and revenue department.
• Answers accounting and taxation questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Provide a professional accounting services delivery to both Thais and foreign clients.
• Leverage the challenge or any opportunities to management when appropriate.

Key requirements

• Holding at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 3 years' experience in an accounting firm.
• Malaysian, Good communicative in English, other languages would be an advantage.
• A team player with excellent communication and presentation.
• Be able to work independently and under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a start-up / pioneer team environment with a 100% work-from-office policy, Monday to Friday.
