Job summary

OMNIGRID PVMAS SDN BHD is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports. You will maintain the General Ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee AR, AP, and cash flow.

The role requires proficiency in SQL, strong communication in English and Chinese, and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail in a dynamic Malaysian

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, payments and maintain filing records
• Support management with ad-hoc tasks when required
• Handle full set of accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Maintain the General Ledger, perform bank reconciliations, and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and cash flow
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and support group financial consolidation
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and regulatory authorities on statutory compliance matters
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016 and other applicable regulations
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting
• Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Review payment requests, staff claims and supporting financial documents
• Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls and financial SOPs
• Assist with tax matters, SST compliance and statutory submissions where applicable
• Perform any other accounting and finance duties assigned by Management
