Job summary

Promatrix DC Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage monthly statements, perform analytical reviews, and oversee group consolidation and statutory filings. You will work closely with business units to monitor KPIs and ensure strong internal controls across finance functions.

The role involves coordinating tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, audits, and process improvements within a dynamic, technology-driven environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Monthly financial statements preparation.
• Analytical reviews of monthly management reports and variance analyses.
• Coordinate Group consolidation reporting and SST/tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the Monthly financial statements
• Perform analytical reviews on monthly management reporting and investigation on variances against norms, budget and forecast including cash flow management
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly Group consolidation reporting package via DIVA System
• Perform and supervise daily operation accounting functions (A/R, vendor payments, cash/bank, inter-company)
• Review debtors aging and inter-company reconciliations and manage credit risk
• Inventory, fixed assets and stock takes; coordinate stock reconciliations for accuracy
• Keep up to date with new accounting standards
• Prepare, review and submit SST, corporate tax and other statutory filings
• Prepare Transfer Pricing documents with external consultants
• Handle audits with external auditors and other statutory fillings
• Work with business units on budgeting and KPI achievement
• Maintain strong internal controls and regularly evaluate control adequacy
• Participate in process improvements for finance and related operations
• Assist in other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Manager (MY)

Job description

• Preparation of the Monthly financial statements

• Ensure timely submission of quarterly Group consolidation reporting package via DIVA System
• Perform/ supervise daily operation accounting functions. Eg: Account Receivable, vendor payments, cash and bank transaction and inter-company
• Perform and review debtor's Aging and inter-company reconciliation and credit risk management
• Perform and review Inventory fixed asset/ stock take in warehouse and coordinate stock reconciliations to ensure accuracy and proper accountability.
• Keep up to date on new accounting standard
• Prepare, review and submit SST, corporate tax and any other statutory filling/ return
• Prepare Transfer Pricing Document by working with the external consultant
• Handle audit with external auditors and other statutory filling
• Working closely with Business units in budget and planning towards achievement of KPIs
• Able to maintain strong internal controls, and to evaluate the adequacy of internal control system regularly
• Participate in process improvement plan and implementation of finance and other operational work flow for organization
• Assist in other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Manager (MY)
