Job summary

United Palm Oil Industry is strengthening its finance and accounts team and is seeking two Account Executives to handle a range of accounting duties in Penang. The role demands accuracy, deadline orientation, and ability to advise on payroll, taxation, budgeting, and group consolidations.

You will review journals, support audits, and guide junior staff while ensuring timely statutory submissions. Based in Nibong Tebal and ready to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing finance function.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CPA/MIA or equivalent preferred.
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Min 3 years in related accounting role; audit background preferred.
• Experience with monthly group consolidation desirable.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines; zero tolerance for delays.
• Chinese communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve manual journal entries and management accounts.

We are strengthening our finance and accounts team and looking for passionate professionals to join us.

2 Account Executives (Pay Range: RM3,500 - RM4,000)

Key Responsibilities of Accountant:

• Review and approve manual journal entries and management accounts.
• Carry out all accounting functions, including but not limited to payroll, taxation, and budgeting.
• Support all matters related to audit, taxation, and company secretarial requirements.
• Handle banking-related matters and documentation.
• Prepare tax computations, including deferred taxation and tax estimations.
• Support and guide junior accounting staff in daily operations and professional development.
• Be responsible for handling the Account Executive’s duties when required, including during maternity leave or after the Account Executive’s resignation, until a suitable replacement is appointed.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements of Accountant:

• Certification in ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent is preferred.
• MinimumDegree in the Accounting field or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related accounting role. (Candidates with an audit background are preferred.).
• Proven experience in preparing monthly group consolidation accounts is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of meeting critical deadlines — including payment processing, statutory submissions, and regulatory filings — with zero tolerance for delays.
• Willingness to learn.
• Preferably able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
