Job summary

ALVA Holding Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to manage a full set of accounts for the group, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.

You will handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly statements, with attention to detail and compliance with accounting standards.

Proficiency in Autocount and MS Office is preferred, with at least 2 years' experience in finance. You will collaborate with teams across the company and contribute to budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and internal control procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with Autocount accounting software.
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a full set of accounts, bank reconciliations and debtor/creditor statements.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budgeting/ledgers reports on time.
• Compile accounts information and ensure accurate financial records.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and staff claims disbursement.
• Maintain accounting records, documentation and filing.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required by the superior.

Responsibilities

Handling accounting system for companies including preparation of a full set of accounts, bank account reconciliation and debtors and/or creditors statements.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare monthly reconciliation statement records.

Preparing and maintaining monthly accurate financial statements and accounts, budgeting and ledgers report on timely manner.

To be able to compile accounts information, analyze accurate accounting options and ensure accurate and maintenance of financial records

Ensure payments of invoices for all purchases and timely payment of staff claims disbursement.

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, documentation and filing of the records.

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as required by the superior.

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Good knowledge in accounting standards, internal control policy and procedure.

Good analytical skills and accurate in details.

Excellent interpersonal and able to communicate with all levels.

Responsible and reliable, able to work independently, committed and meet deadlines

Computer literate and familiar in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Words, Outlook.

Proficient in accounting software (Autocount).

Preferable with 2 years of working experience in the related field.
