Job summary

TETANGGA AKRAB SDN BHD is seeking an accounting professional to manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets in our Kuching office.

You will ensure accurate invoice processing, liaise with suppliers, auditors, and tax agents, and help maintain orderly accounting records. Fresh graduates are welcome, with training provided as needed. A strong starting salary, annual increases, and bi-annual bonuses are offered, with parking provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with accounting systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Processing and handling of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.
• General accounting and fixed assets management.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice entry into accounting software.
• Verify supplier invoices and liaise on discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
• Support management with other assigned tasks.

Job description

Processing and handling of Account Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Accounting, Fixed Assets.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices into the accounting software.

Check, verify and process supplier invoices/debit notes and liaise with supplier on discrepancies.

Liaise with suppliers, auditors, bankers, tax agents and external consultants.

Maintain proper filing of account documents for record keeping.

Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management.

Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Those with at least 1 years of working experience in the related field will be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Being familiar with accounting systems will be an added advantage.

Good team work and interpersonal skills with positive work attitude.

Required Skill(s): Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Accounting Software.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
