Xinda Development Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead the company’s financial operations in Kuantan, Pahang.

You will oversee daily accounting activities, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making with insightful analyses. In this role, you will manage payables and receivables, prepare monthly and annual statements, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and help strengthen internal controls while maintaining compliance with accounting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in account management or senior accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and taxation.

About the role

Xinda Development Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Kuantan, Pahang. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, budgeting, and reporting to support the overall growth and success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Analyzing financial data, identifying trends and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Managing accounts payable and receivable processes and maintaining detailed financial records

Perform analytical reviews of consolidated financial statements including profit and loss analysis, balance sheet assessment and trend analysis.

Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Preparing Company annual budget and financial forecast.

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies

Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the company.

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective financial controls

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Account Manager or Senior Accountant role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in fundamental accounting principles and taxation matters.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data.

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and best practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
