Job summary

Go Capital Growth Sdn Bhd in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor is seeking an experienced Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our financial accounting and reporting team. The role focuses on managing client relationships, overseeing statutory reporting, and delivering high-quality financial statements for multiple clients.

Candidates should have ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent, 3–5 years (or 7+ for Senior) in financial accounting, strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and Malaysian tax rules,

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining relationships with assigned clients as their primary contact for accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial accounting tasks and deliverables.
• Analysing financial data and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation for clients.
• Handling general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation required for accurate reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Providing advisory support to clients regarding their financial position and accounting practices.
• Monitoring client accounts and proactively identifying areas requiring attention or clarification.
• For Senior Account Executive level: demonstrated leadership experience and mentoring capability.
• For Senior Account Executive level: experience in business development and client relationship management.

Based in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor, this role is fundamental to our financial accounting and reporting operations. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing financial accounting functions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting services. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of our clients whilst supporting the strategic growth of Go Capital Growth Sdn Bhd.

Key responsibilities

Managing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as their primary point of contact for accounting and financial reporting matters

Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

A professional qualification in accounting such as ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent recognized accounting credential

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting for Account Executive level, or 7+ years for Senior Account Executive level

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and Malaysian tax regulations

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, with advanced Excel skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities with capacity to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex financial information to clients and stakeholders

Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial reporting

Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions
