Position: Accounting Executive – Malaysia

Monthly salary + allowances + performance-dependent bonus

MNC Retail company to hire an Accounting Executive based in Kuala Lumpur.

This role covers finance and accounting for the Malaysia entity, with additional responsibility for Singapore operations. You will work closely with local teams, external service providers and Japan headquarters, gaining exposure to regional accounting and group reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, support period-end closing and assist with Malaysian tax filings in accordance with MFRS and applicable requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and consolidation reporting schedules for Japan headquarters, including JGAAP reporting.
• Prepare financial reporting materials in Japanese for Board meetings.
• Handle bank transfers, cash flow planning and funds management.
• Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance and analyse variances.
• Verify accounting figures with the merchandising department.
