Job summary

TC Freight & Logistics Sdn. Bhd.

is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage and oversee full sets of accounts for three companies in freight forwarding, trading and engineering sectors, supported by a small team. The role requires liaison with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, lawyers, government authorities and suppliers, and collaboration with internal departments to ensure SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full set accounts for 3 companies (Freight Forwarding, Trading and Engineering sectors) on a monthly and annual basis, supported by a team of two accounting subordinates.
• Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, lawyers, government authorities, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and tax estimations.
• Perform invoice costing verification, document sorting, filing of accounting documents, monthly billing, claims processing, and daily accounting operations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
• Manage credit control functions, including monitoring receivables and following up on collections.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers and AutoCount vendors to troubleshoot and resolve server, hardware and system-related issues.
• Oversee general office administrative matters and ensure smooth operational support.
