Job summary

FunnelEvo Group is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the company's daily accounting operations in Malaysia. You will handle full sets of accounts, maintain the general ledger, and ensure timely completion of all accounting activities.

You will also reconcile intercompany accounts, investigate discrepancies, prepare financial statements, verify supplier invoices, and process payments, while maintaining an organized filing system and supporting ad hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience handling full sets of accounts and monthly closings.
• Ability to balance and reconcile intercompany accounts.

• Assist with ad hoc accounting duties as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling full sets of accounts, and ensuring all accounting activities are completed efficiently and on time.

Here are the key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with this role:

• Handle full sets of accounts accurately, efficiently, and within the required timeline.
• Maintain the general ledger by compiling and analysing account information.
• Record transactions involving assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
• Maintain and balance intercompany accounts by verifying and reconciling transactions.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other related reports.
• Perform daily accounting activities, including checking and verifying supplier invoices.
• Prepare payment vouchers and supporting documents for payment processing.
• Maintain a proper and organised filing system for accounting records and documents.
• Assist with other ad hoc accounting duties assigned by the superior.
