Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, using UBS Accounting Software to maintain accurate records and support month-end and year-end closing processes. The role is based in Subang Jaya and requires a proactive, precise approach to finance.

The position covers GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliation, monthly financial reports, and liaising with tax agents, auditors, and the company secretary.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of e-invoice and basic Malaysian tax regulations.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts incl GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliation.
• Input and maintain accounting records using UBS.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of records.
• Assist with e-invoice submission and liaise with tax agents/auditors/ secretary.
• Ensure statutory compliance with Malaysia accounting standards.
• Support audit prep and other ad-hoc duties.

• Handle full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Input and maintain accurate accounting records using UBS Accounting Software.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
• Assist with e-invoice submission and liaise with tax agents, auditors, and company secretary.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards in Malaysia.
• Support audit preparation and other ad-hoc finance or administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting Software.
• Knowledge of e-invoice and basic Malaysian tax regulations.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
