Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sabah seeks a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts for a construction company. The role requires meticulous ledger updates, monthly bank reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

You will verify payments, staff and subcontractor claims, arrange payments, and maintain records. Proficiency with UBS accounting system, and handling EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and tax submissions are essential to support financial

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for construction company
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation
• Handle inter-company reconciliation
• Verify payments, staff claims, sub-contractor claims to ensure all documents and bills submitted are genuine
• Arrange payment and updating ledger in UBS accounting system
• Responsible in submission of EPF, SOCSO, EIS and TAX
• Responsible in monthly Debtors and Creditors reconciliation
• Maintain proper record of accounts and organizing filing system
• Liaison with external parties such as suppliers, auditor and tax agent
