We are looking for a responsible, organised and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team in Bukit Tambun, Penang.

Key responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections
- Process supplier invoices and arrange payments according to payment schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of management accounts
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
- Handle and maintain e-Invoice records and related documentation
- Assist with audit, tax and other statutory requirements when required
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, internal departments and overseas counterparts on accounting-related matters
- Work closely with operations and management on billing, payments and account-related matters
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
About you
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Preferably 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Fresh graduates with good accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply
- Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of full set accounts and e-Invoice will be an added advantage
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently while also being a good team player
- Responsible, organised, proactive and willing to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking overseas counterparts
