Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The role requires proficiency in Excel and Word, a solid grasp of basic accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin. Preference for 3–5 years of relevant experience and Cirrus Software familiarity.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3-5 years experienced in handling full set of Accounts.
• Knowledge of Cirrus Software will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Able to communicate in written and spoken English & Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR and GL.
• Prepare monthly closing, financial reports and schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Issue invoices and follow up on customer payments.
• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Ensure invoices and progress billings are recorded accurately.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Prepare documents for external audit and tax agents.

• Prepare monthly closing, financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all transaction are properly recorded.
• Issue invoices and follow up on customer payments.
• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Ensure invoices and progress billings are issued accurately and recorded properly.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Preparing tax returns,filing with the LHDN and advising on tax issues.
• Assist in E-Invoice implementation and processing , ensuring all invoices are issued in compliance with requirements from LHDN.
• Prepare documents and schedules for external audit and tax agents
