Job summary

Azimuth Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive to join our Shah Alam finance team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on day-to-day bookkeeping, recording transactions, invoicing, payments, and ledger maintenance in a fast-moving engineering environment.

You will assist with preparing financial statements, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and support month-end closing activities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on bookkeeping experience including reconciling ledgers.
• Ability to assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Proficiency with accounting software (SQL, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail and reliability under time constraints.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions and maintain ledgers for daily bookkeeping.

Role Description

The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role supports the finance and accounting team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, preparing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The Account Executive helps with the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements, monitors accounts payable and receivable, and assists with expense tracking and basic financial reporting. The role involves regular use of accounting software, organizing financial documentation, supporting month-end closing activities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial records. The Account Executive is expected to follow established procedures, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a well-organized accounting function.

Qualifications
