Job summary

NJRP(M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the team and drive financial performance. The role involves preparing full sets of accounts, managing core finance functions, supporting audit and tax submissions, and coordinating with the business unit.

You will also oversee treasury activities, handle vouchers, and supervise junior staff in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and Chinese is required to liaise with project managers from China.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance, or pursuing professional studies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts with notes and schedules for weekly, monthly, and year-end closing.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and perform reconciliations.
• Support audit and tax submissions with schedules.
• Liaise with business unit to handle queries effectively.
• Oversee treasury activities including cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare payment and receipt vouchers with proper documentation.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure work quality.

What you'll be doing?

• Prepare accounts: You'll be responsible for the timely preparation of full sets of accounts, weekly, month-end, and financial year-end closing with Note to Accounts and all related accounts schedules.
• Handle finance functions: Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and perform accounts reconciliations.
• Support audit and tax: Prepare audit and tax schedules for year-end finalization.
• Communicate with business unit: Attend to client's queries or requests effectively.
• Manage treasury services: Monitor and update client's cash flow/trust accounts inflow/outflow.
• Prepare payment/receipt vouchers: Ensure all related documents/invoices/approval are properly filed.
• Supervise junior staff: Oversee the efficiency and work quality of the junior staff team.

Who are they looking for?

• Education: Possess a Diploma, Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in full set accounting is required.
• Multi-task and adapt: Able to multi-task and adapt to dynamic changes in business.
• Language proficiency: Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese is required to liaise with project managers from China.
