Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a junior accounting assistant to support finance operations in Petaling Jaya, Selangor with WFH flexibility. You will help automate processes and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll tasks in a cloud-based environment.

The role requires an analytical mindset, good communication skills, and familiarity with cloud accounting tools. This position offers hybrid work arrangements and benefits such as annual/sick leave and medical claim support.

Qualifications

• Possess minimum education level, Diploma in related field. Preferable Degree holder in Accounting/Finance background.
• Experienced Cloud Accounting Software such as Xero or QuickBooks (during internship) is an advantage.
• A good analytical mind, interpreting skills with effective verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Automating business processes wherever possible (we want to build seamless, automated and paperless finance functions).
• Utilizing cloud accounting systems and other digital apps to perform the standard accounting functions (bookkeeping and payroll matters (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, EIS)).
• Working closely with external stakeholders such as tax agents, auditors, company secretary, bankers, etc.
• Identifying gaps and needs of our clients to be able to provide them with excellent service.
