Job summary

Acclime is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead a team delivering high-quality accounting services for a diverse client portfolio. You will review full sets of accounts for audit and tax purposes, oversee SST returns, and ensure timely payment processing. Strong leadership and client communication are essential.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience, excellent Excel skills, and knowledge of SST. ACCA/CPA is advantageous.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients independently and lead the team in delivering high-quality accounting services.
• Review full sets of accounts and supporting schedules for audit and tax purposes.
• Review Sales and Service Tax (SST) returns to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee payment processing, including the review of payment vouchers and online payments.
• Identify and highlight accounting issues requiring clients’ attention, and work towards timely resolution.
• Monitor team progress and ensure all assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Sales and Service Tax (SST) is an added advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, self-driven and innovative, with a strong sense of responsibility.
