Job summary

Hatten Asset Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full-set accounts, perform monthly closings, and prepare financial statements for a busy property development division. The role requires coordinating with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor/Professional degree in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Excel and WIZ

Qualifications

• Possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or Bachelor/Professional degree in Accounting/Finance Management.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in education institutions.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese.
• Able to handle full set of accounts up to monthly P&L, BS and daily transactions (AR & AP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of WIZ Accounting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines; strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare the property development division’s companies and projects accounting system and controls for cost accounting and budgeting reporting.
• Ensure financial records comply with statutory requirements including audit and taxation.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation and liaison with tax agents, auditors, and government authorities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily bank balances; assist in monthly management reports.

Job description

The candidate needs to handle full set of accounts and perform month end closing in a timely manner. Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank balances. Prepare monthly management reports and other accounts related matters. Assist in audit and tax preparation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and prepare the property development division’s companies and projects accounting system and controls to enable cost accounting and reporting for analysis and budgeting purpose.

Ensure financial records and reports are maintain and compliance with statutory requirements including audit, taxation and internal control.

Assist in preparation of Business Plan and Tax Schedules.

Liaising with tax agent, auditors, company secretary, bankers, lawyers, and government authorities on related job matter.

Undertake special assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as and when necessary.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting/Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Accounting and Financing Management.

Minimum 3 years of related working experience preferably in education institution.

Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese.

Able to handle full set of accounts up to monthly P&L, BS and daily accounts transactions, AR & AP.

Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Word/Preferably WIZ Accounting).

Able to work independently and able to meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
