Job summary

TANJUNG MARINA GROUP SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the company’s full set of accounts and daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will prepare monthly close, financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and management reports, monitor receivables/payables, and assist auditors and tax agents as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in full set accounts is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliation.
• Experience in month-end closing and preparation of management accounts.
• Experience dealing with auditors and tax agents is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software such as SQL or other accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain the Company's full set of accounts.
• Manage daily accounting transactions including AP, AR, GL, expenses and payments.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Process supplier invoices and monitor accounts payable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly closing and ensure all accounting entries are complete and accurate.
• Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow and other management reports.
• Monitor AR/AP aging and follow up outstanding balances.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and other accounting adjustments.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
