Job summary

Satok Furniture Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive based in Kuching, Sarawak to support its accounting and financial operations. You will handle general accounting duties, assist in preparing financial statements, and maintain and update accounting records.

You will provide administrative support to the department, perform monthly reconciliations, and take on ad hoc tasks. The role requires the ability to manage the full set of accounts and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent; professional accounting qualification advantageous (MIA/CPA/ACCA).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity of financial information; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties including entries for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and other accounting records.
• Maintain and update accounting records and databases up to date.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts.

About the role

This is a full-time Account Executive position based in Kuching Sarawak at Satok Furniture Enterprise Sdn Bhd. As the Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting and financial operations, contributing to its overall success.

What you'll be doing

Perform general accounting duties such as key in accounts receivable and accounts payable

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting records

Maintain and update accounting records and databases up to date

Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts

Ad hoc task as assigned by management as and when necessary

Able to handle full set accounts

What we're looking for

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or with MIA/CPA/ACCA is an added advantage

3 years of experience in a similar accounting

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial information

Able to work independently.
