Job summary

Genting Malaysia Berhad is seeking a diligent fresh graduate to join our finance team at Wisma Genting, Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and budgeting support within a dynamic hospitality and leisure group.

Key tasks include journal entries, inter-company and bank reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, asset verification, inventory spot counts, petty cash audits, and assisting with annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications (MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; on the job training will be provided.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform journals for month-end closing.
• Prepare inter-company reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet analysis, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Follow up on daily issues and highlight exceptions.
• Conduct fixed assets verification, inventory spot count, and petty cash audit.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
• Liaise with external auditors on audit matters
