The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of trade marketing experience in a multinational, with strong English communication, and the ability to operate independently while achieving targets.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of trade marketing experience within a multinational organization; global travel retail exposure is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work independently while achieving goals.
• Strong collaboration, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and planning capabilities.
• Sound understanding of cross-functional operations (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, IT, Customer Service, Legal, HR, agencies).
• Proficient in spoken and written English; strong communication skills.

GTR Account Executive is required to plan, negotiate, and implement key initiatives that drive volume, market share growth and profitability in a defined portfolio of accounts in line with the GTR marketing strategy and guidelines, with the ambition of supporting BAT’s transforming “A Better Tomorrow” agenda.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support end-to-end management of assigned accounts to deliver volume, market share, and profitability targets.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers and key operational stakeholders across accounts.
• Execute account plans effectively and ensure seamless implementation of business strategies.
• Drive the launch and execution of new product categories in collaboration with account managers and activation teams.
• Ensure day-to-day operational perfection and timely, in-full (OTIF) delivery across accounts.
• Optimize trade spend and improve returns through effective management of retail, distribution partners, and agencies.
• Conduct business reviews, analyze market and account performance, and provide actionable insights through reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, uphold governance requirements, and support team development, mentor, and stakeholder alignment on account strategies.

What are we looking for?

• 2-4 years of trade marketing experience within a multinational organization; global travel retail exposure is an advantage.
• Proven track record to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on achieving goals.
• Strong collaborator management and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and planning capabilities.
• Sound understanding of cross-functional business operations, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, IT, Customer Service, Legal, HR, and agency management.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, with strong professional communication skills.
• Knowledge of nicotine industry regulations, tax, excise, customs requirements, and their business implications, with success measured through effective account plan execution, program implementation, sales performance, and customer operational team leadership
