Job summary

SMM Education Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Administrative Stock Clerk to maintain stock records, monitor movements, reconcile documents and report discrepancies. You will prepare and issue Delivery Orders and Invoices, verify quantities and customer details, and keep filing up to date.

You will assist with basic accounting and administrative tasks, prepare simple reports for management, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within our education network.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily stock records, monitor stock movements and reconcile documents.
• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO) and Invoices (INV); verify quantities and customer details.
• Keep filing of stock records, DOs, Invoices and supporting documents up to date.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies; follow up on incomplete documentation where necessary.
• Assist with basic accounting and administrative tasks; prepare simple summaries for management.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Maintain and update daily records of stock received and stock issued.

Monitor stock movements and ensure records are accurate and up to date.

Check and reconcile stock records against relevant supporting documents.

Identify and report any stock discrepancies.

Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO) and Invoices (INV).

Verify quantities, prices, customer details, and other relevant information before issuance.

Maintain proper records of issued DOs and Invoices.

Follow up on incomplete or outstanding documentation where necessary.

Maintain proper filing of stock records, DOs, Invoices, and supporting documents.

Assist with basic accounting and administrative tasks when required.

Prepare basic reports or summaries for management when required.

Coordinate with other departments.

Perform other related duties assigned by management.
