Job summary

MX FRUIT & VEGETABLE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur is hiring an Account Executive to manage financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping. This full-time role requires a degree in accounting or related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

You will handle AR/AP, GL, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and assist with tax returns and audits, while supporting process improvements within the Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping & accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including AR/AP, GL, and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Assist with tax returns and liaise with external auditors.
• Support Finance team and identify process improvements.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Account Executive to join our team at MX FRUIT & VEGETABLE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and accounting practices.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Process and record financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and receipts

Prepare financial reports and statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaising with external auditors

Provide support to the Finance and Accounting team as needed

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry

Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools

Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
