Job summary

Victory Recovery Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage full set of accounts, month-end close, and month/quarterly reporting. The role involves tax submissions, bank reconciliations, and liaison with auditors and bankers to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or professional qualifications, at least 3 years in a manufacturing setting, and strong Excel/AutoCount skills, with fluency in English and Malay.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA) or equivalent.
• Able to handle full set of Accounts and Trade Finance facilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and AutoCount Accounting Software.
• Fluent in English and Malay.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Independent with minimal supervision and proactive attitude.
• A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and month/year-end closings.
• Prepare monthly management reports with guidance from Finance Manager.
• Compile and analyze financial information, including service tax submissions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and address outstanding issues.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers to meet deadlines.
• Process payments to creditors and employee claims per policy.
• Review aged accounts payable and manage AR as needed.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and coordinate tagging/verification.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, CSR/ESG reporting and stock takes.

Job description

We are looking for a committed and experienced Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently.

Handle Full set of accounts and responsible for month end/year end closing, monthly management reports with guidance from Finance Manager.

Compile and analyze the financial information including monthly/quarterly submission of service tax.

To prepare bank statement of account and other reconciliation and to take appropriate action to resolve outstanding issues.

Liaise with the auditors, tax agents and bankers in ensuring the preparation of the appropriate schedule and report within the agreed deadline with guidance from Finance Manager.

Process payment to trade and non-trade creditors and employees claim within the approved Service Turnaround Time and Policies.

Review and resolved the aged Account Payable ( AP) ie the above 30 days outstanding.

Prepare all relevant documents relating to BA for submission to bank and to monitor the repayment date.

Ensure to response to vendors calls and to revert to vendor’s emails within 2 working days.

Conduct a review of the vendor master data (yearly review).

Calculate the monthly sales commission payable and ensure the payment is within the agreed Service Turnaround Time.

Maintain the petty cash float/book and ensure payment and reimbursement is according to the approved policy.

Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and coordinate with the relevant sections to conduct tagging and assets verification.

Assist in the updating of the Inventory records and being part of the team to conduct quarterly/yearly stock take.

Assist in account receivable (AR) function as and when required.

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned or permanent assignment to you as and when necessary.

Assist in the preparation of budget or cost analysis.

Support budgeting, audit, and financial planning activities

Assist in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) reporting and initiatives

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements

The above role undertaken is interchangeable as the Company practice job rotation in its long term goal.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA) or its equivalent

Able to handle full set of Accounts and Trade Finance facilities.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, preferable AUTOCOUNT Accounting Software

Proficient in English And Malay

Minimum 3 years working experience with 2 years preferably in manufacturing industry.

Ability to work independent with minimum supervision
