Job summary

CAR TIMES AUTOLUTION SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru is seeking an Account Executive to manage the full or partial set of accounts, handle AP/AR, and ensure accurate financial records in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You will prepare monthly reports, perform bank reconciliations, liaise with auditors and tax agents, and assist budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes while upholding Malaysian accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full or partial set of accounts as assigned.
• Prepare and process AP, AR, and GL entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and vouchers.
• Process supplier payments and follow up on collections.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
• Prepare statutory submissions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and fixed asset management.
• Support year-end audit and tax filing processes.
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties assigned by Management.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in Johor Baharu.

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts, depending on assigned responsibilities.
• Prepare and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and management accounts.
• Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
• Process supplier payments and follow up on customer collections.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
