AE Groups in Malaysia is seeking an experienced group accountant to manage monthly accounting and financial reporting for Malaysia and Singapore entities. You will oversee A/R, A/P, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll processing, ensuring timely statutory submissions and liaison with external auditors.
The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet monthly reporting deadlines.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations
Familiar with full-set accounting, monthly closing and financial reporting
Experience handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Good understanding of account reconciliation and intercompany transactions
Familiar with payroll processing and Malaysian statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF and PCB
Able to coordinate with external auditors and other external parties
Comfortable handling accounts for multiple companies and entities simultaneously
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Good time management and organizational skills
Able to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines
Responsible and comfortable communicating directly with management
Experience handling both Malaysia and Singapore entities would be an advantage

Handle monthly accounting and financial reporting for the group’s active and inactive companies in Malaysia and Singapore
Understand, manage and monitor reconciliation processes, including cross-entity and shared-cost reconciliations
Monitor Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
Prepare and issue monthly statements for collection
Manage account contra arrangements with external agencies
Prepare Amoeba management accounts and monitor Amoeba performance
Liaise with the China shareholder accounting department for monthly reporting and profit-sharing matters
Liaise with external auditors in both Singapore and Malaysia for annual audits and group audits
Handle payroll calculations for three companies, covering one Malaysia entity and two Singapore entities
Handle statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF and PCB
Review and approve bank transactions in accordance with internal procedures
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely completion of financial tasks
Provide financial and accounting advice to Directors whenever necessary
