Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad in Penang seeks an experienced SME Relationship Manager to oversee a commercial loan and deposit portfolio, aiming to hit business centre targets and drive cross-selling of banking products. The role requires 5+ years in Commercial/ SME/ Corporate lending, strong credit knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in Commercial/SME/Corporate lending and relationship management.
Basic understanding of financial accounts.
Good interpersonal skills.
Banking know-how with credit knowledge is preferred.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Resourceful and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

To manage the assigned SME portfolio with the objective of meeting personal and business centre targets.
To continuously cross-sell the Bank’s products & services, with the objective of meeting the customer needs and achieving the Bank’s financial objectives.
To acquire new quality loan / deposit customers.
To execute business plans and strategies set by the Bank.
To comply with all relevant rules and regulations governing the Bank’s business.
To collaborate with product specialists in enhancing utilization of banking facilities, including by not limited to: Trade, Forex, Cash Management Solutions.
