Job summary

Sports Express Melaka is seeking an Account Assistant to join our finance team. You will handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, record transactions, prepare invoices, and assist with payables and receivables.

This role requires basic knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AutoCount is preferred. You will work both independently and as part of a team at Sports Express Melaka, Taman Paya Emas.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting/bookkeeping is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
• Responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses and payments.
• Prepare invoices, receipts and related documents.
• Assist with accounts payable & receivable.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
• Perform basic administrative and accounting duties.
• Assist with other finance-related tasks when required.
