Abang UsedCar Sdn Bhd, a fast-growing used-car company in Malaysia, is seeking a motivated Account Finance professional. The role focuses on basic accounting tasks, including AP/AR, invoicing, and bank reconciliations, with emphasis on accurate data entry and financial record keeping.

You will collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Key duties include handling day-to-day accounting, cross-company transactions, and ensuring timely sales and cash

Qualifications

• Handle basic accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with clerical and administrative functions within Finance and Admin.
• Support cashflow management and financial record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist to handle all accounting, clerical, and administrative functions of the Finance and Admin Department.
• Record business transactions and enter data into the general ledger.
• Manage data entry, document matching, and day-to-day accounting operations for cross-company.
• Handle sales and cash reconciliation to maintain up-to-date bookkeeping.
• Prepare cheques/online payments for rentals and utilities and other disbursements.
• Assist with accounts receivable/payable.

What do we need from you?

Good with number and SQL software system

Computer literate and numerate

Handle basic accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Know about cashflow and financial management

Responsibility

Assist to handle all accounting, clerical, and administrative functions of the Finance and Admin Department

Keeping a thorough record of business transactions and entering data from daily work logs into the company's general ledger

Handle accounting data entry, matching of accounting documents, and other day-to-day operations of accounting functions for the cross-company

Manage sales and cash reconciliation in ensuring bookkeeping is up to date day to day.

Assist with the preparation of cheque/online payment for rental/utilities and other disbursements

Assist with account receivable/payable-related functions

Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed, labeled, and kept for future reference
