Job summary

ANZ HOME FURNITURE SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our growing finance team in Skudai, Johor. You will manage full-set accounts, handle monthly payroll, and ensure seamless cross-departmental financial coordination in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, a Diploma in Accountancy/LCCI or related qualification, and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Set Accounts Management: Prepare, process, and maintain AP and AR.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end monthly payroll calculation and statutory documentation.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with general administrative and financial tasks.

ANZ HOME FURNITURE SDN BHD is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our growing finance team in Skudai, Johor.

About you
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-Set Accounts Management: Prepare, process, and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end monthly payroll calculation, processing, and statutory compliance documentation.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and supporting accounting schedules.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate financial flow.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist with general administrative and financial tasks as assigned.
Technical Skills
  • Strong foundation in basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience with AutoCount Software is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
