Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking candidates with a strong foundation in accounting and finance to support bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial documentation. You will monitor outstanding accounts, assist with collections, and handle petty cash with strict internal controls.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Word is required, along with strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to company policies. Training and learning opportunities provided.

• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to handle basic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
• Experience with Credit Control, including monitoring outstanding accounts and supporting collection activities.
• Ability to manage Petty Cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and follow internal control procedures.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new systems and processes, and comply with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
