Job Description: Academic Assistant – Blockchain & Banking 5.0 Integration
Job Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Academic Assistant with a strong background in Blockchain Architectureand Banking 5.0 concepts (AI-driven financial systems, IoT payments, and hyper-personalized open banking). In this role, you will assist faculty in cutting-edge research, curriculum development, and technical execution. The primary technical focus will be developing and embedding secure, decentralized blockchain protocols and intelligent banking APIs directly into our Learning Management System (LMS) to enable automated micro-credentials, tokenized student economies, and verifiable proof-of-competency. [1, 2]
Master’s degree or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Fintech, Financial Engineering, or a highly related field.
2+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain development or financial software engineering.
To evaluate your candidate or guide the implementation, use this structured four-layer technical roadmap:
Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs): Replace traditional usernames/passwords with Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) protocols so students control their own academic data.
Wallet Connection: Integrate a Web3 wallet extension gateway (like MetaMask or WalletConnect) straight into the LMS login page. [1]
Open Banking Simulator: Connect the LMS via LTI protocols to a secure financial sandbox utilizing Open Banking APIs to simulate automated credit-scoring and AI wealth-management labs.
Programmable Tokenomics: Build a simulated \"Campus Token Economy\" inside the LMS. Students receive automated, real-time micro-payments (tokens) via smart contracts upon completing specific modules or peer-reviews (AI-driven incentive mechanics).
Verifiable Credentials (VCs): Issue cryptographically signed achievements that map directly to the W3C Verifiable Credentials standard.
On-Chain Soulbound Tokens (SBTs): Mint non-transferable tokens to the student's wallet upon course completion, acting as a permanent, tamper-proof, public proof of skill. [1, 2]
LTI 1.3 Advantage: Securely pass data between the LMS gradebook and external blockchain node networks without exposing private student identities publicly.
