Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Fintech, Financial Engineering, or a highly related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in blockchain development or financial software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • LMS Technical Integration: Embed Web3 wallets, DIDs, and smart contracts into the LMS.
  • Banking 5.0 Application: Implement Open Banking APIs and AI-driven credit scoring labs inside the LMS.
  • Curriculum & Lab Design: Build fintech labs, coding assignments, and smart contract simulations.
  • Research Support: Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and co-author papers on DeFi and tokenomics.

Job Description: Academic Assistant – Blockchain & Banking 5.0 Integration

Job Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking Academic Assistant with a strong background in Blockchain Architectureand Banking 5.0 concepts (AI-driven financial systems, IoT payments, and hyper-personalized open banking). In this role, you will assist faculty in cutting-edge research, curriculum development, and technical execution. The primary technical focus will be developing and embedding secure, decentralized blockchain protocols and intelligent banking APIs directly into our Learning Management System (LMS) to enable automated micro-credentials, tokenized student economies, and verifiable proof-of-competency. Key Responsibilities
  • LMS Technical Integration: Architect and embed Web3 wallets, smart contracts, and decentralized identities (DIDs) into the institutional LMS (e.g., Moodle, Canvas).
  • Banking 5.0 Application: Implement simulated or live Banking 5.0 infrastructures (Open Banking APIs, AI-driven credit scoring models, real-time settlement protocols) inside the LMS for hands-on student sandboxes.
  • Curriculum & Lab Design: Build technical lab environments, coding assignments, and smart contract simulation modules for fintech courses.
  • Research Support: Conduct literature reviews, execute data analysis, and co-author papers on decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenomics, and next-generation banking ecosystems.
  • Student Mentorship: Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students through complex blockchain debugging, cryptographic principles, and financial systems engineering.
Required Technical Skills
  • Blockchain Ecosystems: Solidity, Rust, Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and Web3 libraries (web3.js/ethers.js). [1, 2, 3]
  • Banking 5.0 & Fintech APIs: Experience with Open Banking standards, RESTful APIs, CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies), and AI/ML model integration for automated finance.
  • LMS & Software Integration: Proficiency with LMS LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) standards, Node.js, Python, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). [1]
  • Cryptography: Solid grasp of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), public-key infrastructure (PKI), and secure data hashing. [1]
Education & Experience

Technical Roadmap: Integrating Blockchain & Banking 5.0 into an LMS
